Aviva Ireland General Insurance are looking for an ambitious and talented individual to join our Project Management team in our Dublin Cherrywood or Cork Airport offices, to lead the delivery of our new product development initiatives on a 24 Month Fixed Term Contract. Youll be performing a Project Manager role reporting to the Transformation Lead, delivering one or many initiatives from ideation to deployment.You will own delivery of one or more initiatives, working with both the business and & technical teams to define, deliver and deploy change and realise business outcomes. You must have valid Irish, UK, or EU work rights to be considered for this role Duties & Responsibilities: Define project scope and business case Identification and management of all stakeholders Set-up of appropriate project governance and adherence to change methodologies Own the delivery plan, along with issues and risks Own & manage project resourcing and costs Management of requirements/user stories with required stakeholder signoffs Own and manage QA plan, and business deployment plan Measure benefits and outcomes post go-live Reporting of change initiatives status to senior management Skills & Experience: Significant experience of delivering change within General Insurance or Financial Services industry Management of projects scope, delivery timeline and detail plans to deliver digital or regulatory initiatives Stakeholder management experience across business, IT, 3rd parties, and support functions e.g., Compliance Excellent communication & interpersonal skills (verbal and written) Strong problem-solving skills to unblock issues and mitigate risks A strong decision-making and prioritisation skillset, with ability to operate effectively under pressure in dealing with multiple customers Demonstrate personal ownership/responsibility for work with thorough follow through to conclusion Ability to learn and up-skill quickly on customer solutions What will you get for this role?
