Project Manager for Technical Software Projects

Dun & Bradstreet combines global data and local expertise to help clients make informed decisions. As a project manager, you will be responsible for the successful completion of technical software projects, from needs assessment to delivery.

You will lead multiple development teams using cutting-edge data processing capabilities to produce high-quality, innovative solutions. Technologies include HBase, Spark, Java, Scala, EMR, Lamda, RDS, and more.

You will be part of a team, working in a stimulating, collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement within an agile development process, delivering creative, high-quality solutions.

This role is ideal for individuals focused on delivery, driven by results, and enjoying a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure plans are maintained to enable expected delivery
  • Monitor project progress and initiate corrective action where necessary
  • Create and execute project plans to meet changing needs/requirements
  • Report on progress against plan and budget to Program Leader
  • Manage a multi-stream of projects through full SDLC
  • Apply Agile methodology to enforce project standards

About You:

  • 8+ years of project management experience managing medium to high complexity projects
  • PMI/IPMA certification
  • Experience delivering projects in Agile environments
  • Exposure to AWS based development projects
  • Experience using Jira, Workday Projects, and Power BI
  • Knowledge of methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMP
  • Strong analytical skills with a logical and structured mindset
  • Decision-making ability and proven leadership skills
  • Delivery experience within the software industry with a focus on quality and knowledge of existing/emerging technologies
  • Understanding of software development from conception to delivery, maintenance, and support
