Senior Project Manager - Strategy – Rail Infrastructure
Our client, one of Ireland's largest employers, is seeking a Senior Project Manager with strategy experience and an engineering/construction background to manage large rail-related programs and capex projects across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop commercial strategy for operational management and project planning and costing across the rail network in Ireland.
- Develop strategy for programme delivery and success of major expansion projects.
- Manage and guide a team of experienced professionals to deliver large engineering infrastructure programs.
- Plan and manage projects to ensure timely and budgetary completion.
- Develop and implement safety management systems and PPP contracts.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and lead procurement of major developments.
- Lead team and manage junior project managers to ensure project success.
Requirements:
- Extensive operational rail experience.
- Strategic planning experience.
- 15 years of experience in project and commercial management.
- Experience in managing budgets and capital investment.
- Related qualification in engineering, Quantity Surveying, Civil, Planning, or Commercial.
- Chartered Engineer or member of Engineers Ireland.
- Commercial management ability.
- Sustainable development experience.
- Experience with CWMF and NEC forms of contract.
Remuneration is dependent on industry experience and qualifications.
