Senior Project Manager - Strategy Rail Infrastructure
Manage large rail-related programs and capex projects across Ireland, developing commercial strategies and leading experienced teams to deliver projects on time and on budget.
About the Role
- Develop commercial strategy for operational management and project planning
- Manage and guide experienced teams to deliver large engineering infrastructure projects
- Plan and deliver major expansion projects across the rail network in Ireland
- Develop and deliver strategy for programme delivery and project success
Key Responsibilities
- Technical and commercial project management
- Strategy development and delivery
- Financial management and commercial strategy management
- Tender assessment and SLA management
- Safety management and PPP contracts management
- Manage stakeholder relationships and lead procurement of major developments
- Team leading and team management
- Report to board on project development and design and construction review
Requirements
- Extensive operational rail experience
- Strategic planning and project management experience
- Experience in managing budgets and capital investment
- Related qualification in engineering, quantity surveying, civil, planning or commercial
- Chartered engineer or member of Engineers Ireland
- Commercial management ability and sustainable development experience
- Experience with CWMF and NEC forms of contract
