Job Description
Senior Project Manager role in Canada for a leading Main Contractor, managing high-value projects and leading a team of professionals.
Lead and direct the daily management of projects valued over $200 Million CAD, ensuring overall performance, cost, schedule, quality, status, and compliance.
Provide safety leadership, planning, scheduling, and controlling activities during the construction phase, mentoring and managing a successful team.
Supervise and develop project team members, provide regular feedback, training, and coaching, and timely completion of performance evaluations.
Monthly and quarterly reporting on overall project performance to Senior Management, fostering positive relations and communication with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma/Trade in Construction or Engineering Discipline
- 10 Years+ in Construction / Project Management for a Main Contractor in Ireland/UK
- Experience delivering projects with values €100 Million+
- Solid understanding of construction industry practices
- Strong familiarity with contract administration, understanding drawings, specifications, architectural and engineering standards, and building practices
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- IT Skills: MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Plan Grid
