Senior Project Manager role in Canada for a leading Main Contractor, managing high-value projects and leading a team of professionals.
Lead and direct the daily management of projects valued over $200 Million CAD, accountable for overall project performance, including cost, schedule, quality, status, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safety leadership through implementation of the company's safety program.
- Plan, schedule, set objectives, and control activities during the construction phase.
- Mentor and manage a successful team, helping develop future construction professionals.
- Supervise and develop project team members through regular feedback, training, and coaching.
- Complete performance evaluations in a timely manner.
- Report on project performance to Senior Management on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Foster and maintain positive relations and communication with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma/Trade in Construction or Engineering Discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in Construction/Project Management for a Main Contractor in Ireland/UK.
- Experience delivering projects with values €100 Million+.
- Solid understanding of construction industry practices.
- Strong familiarity with contract administration, understanding drawings, specifications, architectural and engineering standards, and building practices.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
