Senior Project Manager (Relocate to Canada) Exciting opportunity for aSenior Project Manager to relocate to Canada and join the Building Division of one of Canadas Largest Main Contractors (Circa $3 Billion turnover annually) to work across a mixed portfolio of High-Rise, Commercial, Healthcare, Airport, Defense and Educational projects. Duties: Lead, direct, and coordinate the daily management of project (s) valuing over $200 Million CAD. Accountable for the overall project performance including cost, schedule, quality, status and compliance. Provide safety leadership through implementation of the companies safety program. Planning, scheduling, setting objectives and controlling activities during the construction phase. Mentor and manage a successful team and help develop future construction professionals. Supervision and development of project team members through regular feedback, training and coaching; timely completion of performance evaluations. Monthly and quarterly reporting on overall performance of project to Senior Management. Foster and maintain positive relations and communication with clients, consultants, architects and subcontractors. Requirements: Degree/Diploma/Trade in Construction or Engineering Discipline. 10 Years+ in Construction / Project Management for a Main Contractor in Ireland/UK. Experience delivering projects with values €100 Million+. Solid understanding of construction industry practices. Strong familiarity with contract administration, understanding drawings, specifications, architectural and engineering standards and building practices, including building codes. Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. IT Skills: MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam and Plan Grid. Available to relocate permanently to Canadawithin 6-9 months. Benefits: Salary $175,000 to $200,000 CAD (Circa €120k to €135k) + Vehicle allowance Bonus / Profit sharing scheme.
