The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing a group of projects from planning and design through to successful completion and commissioning.
- Delivering projects safely to time, budget, and specification, ensuring projects achieve all project goals and objectives.
- Overseeing day-to-day activities of Project Managers, ensuring implementation of project management techniques and measures.
- Providing technical and contractual support to Project Managers, reporting on project performance, and coordinating project interfaces.
- Leading coordination of project, ensuring consideration and addressing of interfaces at all stages of project lifecycle.
- Working with technical teams to coordinate and manage design consultants and external service providers.
- Organizing design review meetings, communicating design acceptance to Contractor, and communicating design changes to relevant project team members and stakeholders.
- Reporting monthly on project tasks, maintaining project risk register, and updating at monthly progress meetings.
- Ensuring projects and commissions are delivered to client satisfaction for quality, cost, and time.
- Supporting and managing project team, ensuring appropriate resources are provided on projects, meeting client and business requirements.
- Identifying opportunities to improve Project Management procedures, templates, and products.
- Managing flow of project information between team and client, through regular meetings and written communication.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Construction sector.
- Degree Qualified – preferably in Engineering or related Project management discipline.
- Professionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS, CIOB, APM or other equivalent institution.
- Highly motivated and with excellent industry network.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure project outputs meet required standards.
- Knowledge of RIAI, GCCC, NEC & FIDIC suite of contracts.
- Knowledge of Engineering and Project management Principles.
- Ability to make decisions and demonstrate logic in reaching those decisions when required.
- Working knowledge of Project Management software and toolsets.
