Job Description

Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a Senior Project Manager who will be working as part of the Access & Integration Drug Management Programme in South Dublin. The duration of this post is 9 months initially with possible extensions thereafter. Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €42.86 per hour based on an annualised salary of €78,274. You will also accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays. The ideal candidate must have a track record of 2+ years successfully managing the delivery of large-scale project(s) within a medium - large scale organisation, preferably within the healthcare sector. Role & Responsibilities Work as the Management Systems Manager in the Management System National Team Development and management of data quality protocols and policies Oversee and monitor Management System support agreement(s) Engagement with system business teams and clients Project team Develop protocols and procedures for disaster recovery and business continuity Co-ordinate and plan system upgrades Analyse development requests and provide expert opinion to change approvers. Work closely with National Project team on project lifecycle tasks as appropriate such as testing, interfacing, reporting, future site engagement and all other necessary tasks. Oversee introduction and agreement of Support Organisation processes and communications where required for maintenance, development and testing of system. Advise local project teams as necessary on project and business as usual activity Must have Skills & Experience: A track record of 2+ years successfully managing the delivery of large scale project(s) within a medium - large scale organisation, preferably for a Health Service Organisation, and this must be clearly demonstrated in the submission. Experience in implementing and supporting large scale systems, including ETL, data modelling, database management and business intelligence, preferably with integrated hospital-based clinical systems Proficiency and understanding of Data and Data Analytics. Experience of budget planning, financial management and resource management processes Business Competencies: Displays leadership, high level of communication and interpersonal skills including liaising with multiple stakeholders An ability to quickly build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders. Excellent ICT, presentation and report writing skills. Understanding of strategy and an ability to operationalise a strategic vision. Ability to work with the other ICT units to ensure that ICT programmes are delivered in a cohesive and planned manner. Demonstrate experience in working collaboratively with stakeholders and partners to ensure that the impact of projects are maximised. Demonstrates evidence of strategic management skills including service planning, managing own work and that of others, delegating appropriately within the resources available. Demonstrate ability to implement & manage change & business process re-organisation skills. Displays a commitment to achieving quality results including experience in evaluating the provision of services. Demonstrates good problem solving, analytical and decision making skills.
