Job Description
Senior Project/Program Manager Role Summary:
Creating and executing project plans, proactively mitigating risks, and managing project life cycles from inception to delivery and post-production support.
Responsibilities:
- Manage external stakeholders as a customer-facing Program Manager.
- Work with internal and external customers and stakeholders to define project objectives and requirements.
- Prioritize requirements and define scope to meet customer needs in a timely manner given available resources.
- Develop and maintain standard project management deliverables, including implementation plans, project schedules, project budgets, and issue logs.
- Partner with internal and external development teams to deliver on time and with the required quality.
- Manage each release through the quality checker process.
- Partner with various teams to identify areas for improvement and increase customer satisfaction.
- Anticipate problems and formulate solutions to avoid impeding project progress.
- Assume responsibility for issue resolution and drive ownership.
- Hold status update meetings with technical teams and update higher management on project progress.
- Create and maintain scorecards to track project performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 10+ years of experience, with at least 2+ years of Program Management or Technical Product Management experience in a technology-oriented organization.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Strong project management skills, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and think creatively and strategically.
- Familiarity with Integrated Circuit Design, Custom Layout, Physical Design & Verification, and Silicon Validation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals.
