Registration, handling, and settlement of both household and commercial property damage claims. Ensure precise and comprehensive documentation of all transactions and decisions. Maintain strict adherence to company quality standards. Comply with financial services authority requirements for claims handling. Achieve agreed targets related to settlement rates, call responses, and case completions. Collaborate with various stakeholders to obtain and provide critical information necessary for service excellence and effective claims cost management. Identify and escalate potential fraud cases by recognizing fraud indicators and referring them to the Fraud Investigation Unit (FIU). Adhere to established recovery procedures for any property recovery or potential recovery cases. Your Skills and Experience: Essential Criteria Minimum 3 years experience in Insurance Claims handling or Underwriting with previous exposure to Property Claims Completed an APA, CIP or a relevant insurance qualification to meet MCC requirements* Skilled communicator with ability to work on initiative and manages own time effectively Regulatory Notice **This role is subject to Minimum Competency Code (MCC) as provided for by the Central Bank of Ireland. A recognised insurance qualification may be required for this position. Appointment to this role will be subject to the requirements provided for by the Central Bank of Ireland. This role is a Control Function (CF-5,6) and is subject to F&P Standards. This includes the requirements provided for by the Central Bank (Individual Accountability Framework) Act 2023.
