Accenture Quality Engineering As enterprises look to software as a source of competitive advantage, they demand quality—at speed and scale. They must rethink how they build and test applications, moving away from testing as a standalone function at far end of the development cycle to embedding quality throughout. Our Quality Engineering services are designed to power speed, quality and productivity with an intelligence and insights-driven approach. We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineers to be a part of our quality engineering practice. This is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of software quality across our portfolio of programmes and projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with our clients and helping them in managing the software testing processes, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of quality within the team. The projects vary in length and can last between 3 weeks to several years depending on project size and project phase. Testing and quality assurance are a crucial part of the IT solutions we develop together with our clients. Responsibilities Include: Taking ownership of testing of allocated projects, and willingly undertaking analysis to better understand the application under test. Reviewing design specifications and creating detailed and QA compliant acceptance criteria. Identifying data requirements for testing. Peer reviewing of acceptance criteria from other team members. Executing manual and automated test scripts to ensure that the application behaves as specified. Creating accurate and complete defect reports. Reviewing test coverage for accurate planning of testing duration. Identify the root of technical and functional issues and recommend fixes to resolve them. Supporting project managers/test leads in test estimation and planning. Ensuring compliance with defined project standards on testing policies, criteria, strategy, and procedure. Collaborating with project managers/test leads, business owners, development teams, and operations to ensure alignment. Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency, effectiveness, and coverage. Required skills: Demonstrable knowledge of software testing methodologies, standards, approaches, and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate findings and status to a non-technical audience. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Azure DevOps, Selenium, Postman, SOAP and REST Services, JUnit or similar. Familiarity with a programming language(s). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. ISTQB Certification or similar accreditation. 5+ years experience in the area of quality engineering. Proven experience in a quality engineering or quality assurance role and knowledge of Testing standards and approaches. Experience with waterfall and agile development methodologies. Ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
