With a presence in over 40 countries, our associates have the flexibility to choose a work environment that best suits their needs, ranging from in-office to fully remote options.The Role: As a Senior Quality Engineer on one of the OpenShift AI teams, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in a component team as well as engage with affiliated open-source communities. You will collaborate as part of an evolving development team to rapidly design, secure, build, test, and release new capabilities. This role primarily involves individual contributions, with close collaboration alongside other developers and cross-functional teams. A passion for working within open-source communities and developing solutions that integrate open-source and partner technologies into a cohesive platform is essential.What You Will Do:Lead contributions to the architecture, design, and development of automated testing for new features and solutions.Drive innovation in the MLOps domain by actively participating in upstream communities.Ensure that non-functional requirements, including security, resiliency, and maintainability, are met.Write integration and usability tests, collaborating with software engineers to ensure product quality.Utilize CI/CD best practices to deliver high-quality solutions as part of productization efforts.Foster a culture of continuous improvement by sharing recommendations and technical knowledge with team members.Collaborate with product management, engineering, and cross-functional teams to analyze and clarify business requirements.Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members to ensure proper visibility of quality efforts.Provide thoughtful and prompt code reviews.Represent in external engagements, including industry events, customer meetings, and open-source communities.Mentor and guide other quality engineers.What You Will Bring:Strong experience in testing applications using Go, Python, or other programming languages.Extensive experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other cloud-native technologies.Ability to quickly learn and guide others in utilizing new tools and technologies.Experience with source code management tools such as Git.A passion for innovation and a commitment to staying at the forefront of technology.Strong understanding of systems and troubleshooting capabilities.An autonomous work ethic, thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Additional Qualifications:While a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related discipline is valued, practical experience and technical expertise are prioritized.Understanding of the dynamics of Open Source and Free Software communities.Knowledge or experience in MLOps and AI technologies.If you are interested in this role or would like to discuss it further, please contact Nidhi at +353 1 645 5244 or email nidhi.tripathi@experis.ie. #J-18808-Ljbffr
