Senior Quantity Surveyor required for a leading international provider of innovative Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Solutions, with a focus on Energy, Power and Renewables, Pharma, Food & Beverage, and Data Centres.
This role involves management and ownership of commercial and contractual requirements through the life cycle of projects, with a focus on interface with clients, procurement, cost and risk analysis, and project change order procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management and ownership of commercial and contractual requirements through the life cycle of projects.
- Responsibility for interface with clients, commercial and contract teams.
- Project procurement, including subcontractors.
- Conduct cost and risk analysis.
- Review incoming correspondence to identify contractually critical items and initiate replies.
- Manage commercial aspects of subcontractors.
- Provide project costing, margin and cashflow reports.
- Manage project change order procedures and agree costs with clients.
Requirements:
- 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics/Quantity Surveying.
- 5+ years experience working as a Surveyor.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Previous experience working in the electrical/mechanical field.
- Ability to prioritize workload according to deadlines and attention to detail.
- Ability to influence colleagues at all levels.
