Our client, a leading Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation contractor, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical) to manage projects in Cork, with experience in Mechanical Systems and a strong understanding of quantity surveying principles. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, 10+ years of commercial experience, and a proven track record in managing projects, preparing reports, and resolving disputes. The role offers a clear progression path, opportunities for CPD, and a family-friendly work environment. Key responsibilities include validating tenders, preparing cash flow reports, compiling project valuations, and monitoring progress. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, while also identifying and mitigating risks.
