Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Dublin Salary: £DOE The Role We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to a mechanical engineering company in their Dublin office. As the successful Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be joining the commercial team of 4 working on projects mainly in the residential sector. There is also an option to be based from their Northern Ireland office, travel between the two office will be part of the duties in this position. The Company This company is a mechanical engineering company who operates in both Ireland and Northern Ireland predominantly on residential projects such as apartment blocks as well as traditional housing developments. They do also work on commercial projects such as office and mixed use buildings. The role will require * Conduct detailed cost estimates * Assist in the tender process for new work * Manage the commercial aspects of projects * Sub-contractor management * Contract negotiation * Provide regular reports on projects * CVR * Final accounts * Mentor junior members of the team Desired Skills & Qualifications * Ideally 5+ years as a Quantity Surveyor * Relevant degree * Ideally M&E experience * Driving licence Salary & Benefits * Salary DOE * Bonus to be discussed * Company car to be discussed * Company pension scheme * 30 days holiday Keen to hear about other opportunities like this?
