Job Description
Senior Quantity Surveyor required to provide commercial support to a leading civil engineering contractor in Dublin.
Key responsibilities include maintaining commercial information, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, and achieving company objectives.
Key skills and qualifications:
- Qualification/degree in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent
- Previous experience in the civil engineering industry
- Familiarity with contracts and knowledge of current Construction Law
- Extensive experience in commercial management and procurement of subcontractors
Key responsibilities:
- Provide commercial support to the project team
- Maintain commercial information and ensure compliance with contractual requirements
- Ensure company objectives are achieved
- Liaise with customer/client representatives and other third parties on commercial issues
- Ensure accurate cost and value reporting
- Carry out cost management, including forecasting
- Update monthly CVR, cost, and commercial plans
- Have accountability for commercial performance and strategy
Requirements:
- Qualification/degree in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent
- Previous experience in the civil engineering industry
- Familiarity with contracts and knowledge of current Construction Law
- Extensive experience in commercial management and procurement of subcontractors
Salary: €75k - €85k DOE
