ProSource are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based in Dublin on behalf of one of Irelands Tier One Main Contractors. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving forward their commitment to excellence, contributing to high-profile developments that shape the landscape of the city. Responsibilities: Lead cost management functions, including estimating, budgeting, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Manage contract documentation, ensuring compliance and resolving disputes as they arise. Oversee procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favourable terms. Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing strategies to minimise financial exposure. Cultivate strong client relationships, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly. Mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development and ensuring project objectives are met. Uphold the highest standards of quality and accuracy in all surveying activities, maintaining meticulous records and reports. Requirements: Chartered Quantity Surveyor status is preferred. A minimum of 5 years experience in a senior quantity surveying role within the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects. Expertise in quantity surveying software and proficiency in relevant industry standards and regulations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines, maintaining composure under pressure.
