Senior Quantity Surveyor Due to the development of new and existing projects, we are excited to be recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team in either Oranmore, Galway, or Tubbercurry, Sligo. Working alongside the Project Director/Contracts Manager, you will assist the commercial and construction teams to ensure successful project delivery, while maintaining strong relationships, maximising commercial returns, and managing risk. Key Responsibilities: Preparing tenders, analysing and selecting appropriate subcontractors, finalising orders, and managing financial and commercial aspects to Final Account completion. Preparing and presenting forecasts, targets, and cost value reconciliations. Preparing and agreeing valuations, including generating certificates and handling invoicing and payments. Regularly updating projected final accounts and preparing, submitting, and agreeing Final Account in a timely manner. Maintaining and protecting Our Client's commercial and contractual entitlements. Reviewing and updating the project risk/opportunity plan, monitoring for changes, and considering them within any forecast reports. Providing tender support and working with the pre-construction department on tenders, including two-stage tenders. Requirements: Strong commercial awareness. Experience in adjudication and dispute resolution. Leadership and delegation skills. A good understanding of legal aspects. Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) and staying updated on legislation and industry trends. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
