We are presently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a large pharmaceutical plant build in County Kerry. You will manage the project's financial and contractual aspects. You will lead on estimating, budgeting, procurement, and tendering and will negotiate contracts, oversee cost control, manage subcontractor payments, track variations, and ensure the project stays within budget and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of quantity surveying duties on residential and commercial projects. Provide accurate cost management, budgeting, and forecasting throughout project lifecycle. Prepare and assess tender documents, contracts, and procurement processes. Lead negotiation and management of subcontractor agreements. Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure cost control. Handle risk analysis, value engineering, and cost reporting to stakeholders. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure delivery on time and within budget. Oversee final accounts and variations. Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field. 5+ years of experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and construction practices. This position is based in Tralee County Kerry, with a multi year project antisipated.
