A global medical device company are looking for a Senior R&D Engineer to join their Research and Development team on a contract basis. The role is primarily to lead a design team of engineers on the stent part of the project but at times it is also expected that he/she can support other design and development activities on the project as needed. Essential skills: - 5 years+ experience working with Class III medical devices (ideally would have worked on stents and delivery systems previously). - Experience in the design and development of medical devices. - Experience leading and driving a team to hit project milestones - Experience working with Design History File (DHF) documentation You will get: - The opportunity to be involved in the full lifecycle of the product - Design and development of an innovative product to meet unmet patient needs The start date is for ASAP. The initial contract length is for 12 months, with options to extend after. The role is based in Limerick and will require 1 days onsite per week, the rest of the time you can work remotely.
