**Senior R&D Manager for Interventional Pain Therapy** As a Senior R&D Manager for Interventional Pain Therapy, you will lead a team of engineers in the development of innovative medical devices for pain management, working closely with cross-functional partners to drive product pipeline and strategy. **About the Role** * Guide, grow, and motivate a talented engineering team responsible for designing and developing pioneering transcatheter medical devices and procedures. * Partner with internal and external experts to maintain and strengthen clinical and technical expertise. * Collaborate with core teams to establish objectives and evaluate progress. * Manage functional cost center budget and resource allocation. * Generate novel solutions to engineering and organizational challenges. **Key Skills and Experience** * Level 8 Degree in Engineering or related discipline, Masters/PhD preferred. * 10 years relevant direct engineering experience within a similar environment. * 3-5 years direct managerial experience of engineers. * Excellent team building, communication, people management, and management skills. * Experience in orthopedics and/or product development in the spine area preferred. **About Medtronic** Medtronic is a global leader in healthcare technology, committed to alleviating pain, restoring health, and extending life.
