Senior Research & Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research & Development Engineer to join our team at Freudenberg Medical. This individual will play a key role in driving innovation and developing cutting-edge technologies.

About the Role:

• Solve complex problems and develop new perspectives on existing solutions.
• Act as a specialist or expert within own job discipline.
• Contribute to product and process improvements.
• Lead projects or project steps within a broader project.
• Formally train junior staff and act as a resource for colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new technologies and products.
• Work independently or with minimal guidance.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of own discipline and related disciplines.
• Lead smaller projects with moderate complexity and manageable risks.
• Solve complex problems and exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.

Requirements:

• Third level qualification in Engineering or Science, preferably in Mechanical or Biomedical.
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in a Science / Technology / Engineering related discipline.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Motivated and self-starting with ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing environment.
• High level computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word.
