Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Resident Engineer to join our team in various counties throughout Ireland. The successful candidate will be seconded into a client office/site to work on capital projects in the water and wastewater sectors.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in site supervision, contract administration, and health and safety management
- Experience in administering contracts, particularly Public Works & FIDIC
- Knowledge and awareness of health and safety legislation and regulations
- Chartered Engineer status
- Managing Safely in Construction Training
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Responsibilities
- Drive project delivery on site, focusing on health and safety, time management, cost control, and quality standards
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with contract documents and specifications
- Monitor and report on works progress to employer's requirements
- Implement Uisce Éireann safety policies and standards on construction projects
- Review and comment on project/site-specific HSQE documentation
- Monitor compliance with contract health and safety requirements and contractor's proposals
- Conduct weekly documented health and safety site reviews
- Report and investigate accidents or incidents on site
