Job Description
Senior Resident Engineer - Wastewater position available, leading sewer survey and investigation projects with a global engineering consultancy firm in Laois and Kildare.
As a Senior Resident Engineer, you will oversee the delivery of Sewer Survey and Investigation projects, working closely with the design and construction teams to ensure successful project outcomes. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and management skills to drive project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Site supervision of wastewater upgrade projects
- Contract administration and project management of civil engineering works, including wastewater projects
- Writing clear and concise reports and maintaining accurate works records
- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety procedures and regulations
- Managing construction contracts, with experience in FIDIC and Public Works forms of contract an advantage
- Maintaining a valid Safe Pass card and being proficient in confined spaces training
Requirements:
- At least 10 years' post-graduate experience in on-site supervision, contract administration, and project management of civil engineering works, including wastewater projects
- Degree in a related discipline, such as Civil Engineering
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Flexibility regarding travel
