Job Summary: Experienced Senior Resident Engineer required for wastewater projects in Laois and Kildare. Manage site supervision, contract administration, and project management of civil engineering works.
We are seeking a skilled Senior Resident Engineer to work on wastewater projects based in Laois and Kildare. The successful candidate will have at least 10 years' post-graduate experience in on-site supervision, contract administration, and project management of civil engineering works, including wastewater projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site supervision of wastewater upgrade projects
- Contract administration and project management
- Experience in design and construction of wastewater upgrades and treatment works
- Strong knowledge and experience of Health and Safety procedures and regulations
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related discipline, such as Civil Engineering, and be able to write clear and concise reports and keep works records. A current and valid Safe Pass card is essential; confined spaces training would be desirable.
Knowledge of construction contracts, including FIDIC and Public Works forms, would be advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will be flexible with regard to travel and able to work within a team.
