Job Description
A Senior Project Engineer is required to manage a residential construction project in Co Meath, working with a well-established contractor with a proven track record. The role involves preparing, coordinating, and monitoring the project from initial planning to final completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain procedures with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for information flow, approvals, meetings, and reporting.
- Prepare a detailed contract items list and monitor the submittal and procurement schedules.
- Ensure compliance with construction schedules and manage subcontractor submissions.
- Conduct construction document reviews and examine documents for constructability, coordination, and execution.
- Manage project close-out, including BCAR compliance documentation and as-built documentation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
- 5+ years of experience in residential construction project management.
- Familiarity with Irish Standards and Auto CAD.
- Good planning and problem-solving skills, with experience in managing teams and technical submittals.
