Job Description

Senior Retail Customer Marketing Manager - Beer Brand: Lead the development and execution of customer marketing strategies to drive category growth and unlock the Triple Win.

This role will sit at the intersection of the Brand and Commercial teams, aligning customer marketing strategy and implementation with the Retail Beer business ambition. The successful candidate will operate at a senior level within the Customer Marketing team, shaping and delivering the Beer strategy across all key Omni-channel touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape and develop the Diageo Ireland Retail Beer Omni-channel activation strategy across the IOI, encompassing the Guinness Family, Carlsberg, Rockshore & World Beer brands.
  • Lead the Beer Omni-channel activation planning process, working with brand/shopper/category/customer leads and Digital to align Beer activation with the voice of the customer and business objectives.
  • Deliver outstanding category and brand activation plans within Beer, collaborating with customer activation managers to achieve the Triple Win with agility and expertise.
  • Deliver and own Beer innovations launches into the retail channel, working with cross-functional teams to deliver value into the mother brand and in-line with business results.
  • Conduct annual and quarterly continuous improvement reviews on the category to identify key barriers to growth and opportunities within the category.
  • Lead and proactively input into all key Beer Market Business plan meetings (MBP's / OKRs), bringing expertise and insights across the Beer category/customer/channel.
  • Lead the M&E/competitive analysis of the Beer category plans to strategically feed into future decision making and plans.
  • Own and manage the Beer CM A&P budget in line with business deliverables and CM strategy into execution plan.

About You:

  • Previous senior level experience in a brand/shopper/D. Comm or customer marketing role.
  • Experience building and leading successful end-to-end omni-channel customer campaigns.
  • Strong commercial skill and analytics capability (inc. Kantar/Nielsen).
  • Strong knowledge of the IOI retail landscape and key players that operate within.
  • Leadership skills & capability.
  • Proven ability to turn insights to action.
  • Strong relationship building expertise (bringing stakeholders on the journey).

  • Presentation story telling skills.
