Senior roads design engineer sought for Atkins Réalis in Cork, Ireland. Key responsibilities include planning, design, and construction supervision of road, rail, and public transport projects. Ideal candidate will have extensive experience in consultancy environment, degree in engineering, and chartered engineer status. Excellent communication and teamwork skills required. - road schemes development (feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed design, statutory processes, procurement processes, contract document preparation, contract administration, and construction supervision)
- design and build projects
- relevant design standards (TII / NTA) and ability to translate this knowledge into practical, buildable, and value-for-money designs
- computer literate with experience of relevant design software (e.g. Auto CAD Civil 3D, Bentley Open Roads)
