We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Sales Executive to join our team.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT sales, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth through new business development and key account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base, focusing on large and strategic accounts.
- Leverage personal and professional networks to underpin business development activities.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organisations.
- Present and demonstrate the value of our IT solutions, tailoring proposals to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including management, marketing, technical consultants, and product development, to ensure client needs are met.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors' activities to identify new opportunities and challenges.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasted revenue to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field. Relevant certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT sales, with a focus on enterprise-level clients and at least 3 years' experience in managed service provider sales.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets, particularly in a competitive, technology-driven environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT solutions, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Self-motivated, with a strong drive to succeed and the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
