Seeking experienced sales professional to build relationships with customers and drive sales of tile and bathroom fixtures in a showroom environment.
Our client, a leading showroom in Cork, is looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering results in a customer-facing role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with existing and new customers, including plumbers, tilers, interior designers, building contractors, and architects.
- Drive the supply of tile and bathroom fixtures, selling directly to end-users and to those in the construction industry.
- Meet sales and margin targets as set by management.
- Negotiate prices with customers while meeting agreed sales and margin targets.
- Produce quotations as required and follow up with the showroom sales team on client appointments.
- Follow up on quotations, including quotes won/lost and reasons why.
- Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental rules and regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' recent experience in customer-facing sales within the commercial construction sector or a retail showroom environment.
- Previous sales experience within the tiling and plumbing sector is desirable but not essential.
- Proven ability to forge ongoing relationships with tradespeople, turning them into regular customers.
- Proven track record of achieving targets and delivering results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to demonstrate a good level of computer literacy.
- Full clean valid driver's license.
- Self-motivated individual with good follow-up with established and potential customers.
