About the role: Reporting to the Information Security Architect, you will play a proactive role in managing and monitoring the organisations Network & Security infrastructure. You will also assist with other security related tasks such as vulnerability management and deployment of security solutions. Research, evaluate, develop, and implement security solutions and standards following industry best practices. Ensure that current and planned technical solutions are compatible with the company's business needs and strategic objectives. Operate the production environment security toolsets and services. Work with other teams to design, develop, and implement Enterprise Security solutions in support of development, test, and production environments. Provide technical security expertise and assistance to other IT and Business groups. Perform security audits and testing and evaluates system security configurations to ensure efficacy and compliance with policies and procedures. Support the information security operations team. Role Requirements Bachelors degree in science or engineering preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 10+ years of experience with security processes and solutions. Strong understanding of current security threats, techniques, and landscape, as well as a dedicated and self-driven desire to research current and emerging threats in the information security landscape. Deep knowledge in Firewalls /VPN Technologies. Conceptual and practical understanding of IT Infrastructure designs, technologies, products, and services. This should include an understanding of Information Security concepts which apply to them. Good working knowledge in scripting language, Python, PowerShell, etc. Experience with a Security Information Event Management Strong understanding of Wireshark as well as Linux/UNIX and Windows based operating systems. Knowledge of system log forensics (Syslog, Event Viewer) Strong working knowledge of Network security concepts and technologies such as: Experience in building and maintaining network security devices for WAN, LAN, VPN, & WIFI Experience in Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Checkpoint) Knowledge of network packet inspection and forensics Knowledge of intrusion detection or prevention systems Knowledge of TCP/IP, computer networking, routing and switching protocols Knowledge of DNS, Internet policy enforcement, firewalls, Web content filtering What you'll get in return Opportunity to work with a global industry leader Hybrid Working Commitment to career development & continued learning Exposure to global network/security operations, cutting edge technology Very competitive salary and benefits package.
