Job Description
A leading Irish government department seeks two Senior Share Point developers to lead a migration project.
Key responsibilities include managing the IM&T Development Team, prioritizing work, and providing weekly progress reports.
Share Point Developers will work on premise for 24 months, with a high probability of extension, and attend onsite 2 days a week.
Requirements include a third-level degree in IT or Computer Science, relevant Microsoft Certification, and 7+ years of Share Point experience.
Previous experience in leading technical teams, designing enterprise-level Share Point solutions, and integrating with other technologies is essential.
Immediate availability to work in the EU is required, as the client cannot provide Visa or Work Permit sponsorship.
Job Description
Share Point Developers will be responsible for:
- Day-to-day management and oversight of the IM&T Development Team activities
- Supporting Development Management in the assessment and delivery of project and non-project development
- Providing weekly progress reports on work assigned
- Working with the technical team to optimize and error-check all code
- Participating in the development of Share Point application lifecycle maintenance processes
- Contributing to the development of technical documentation
- Participating in system testing and defect/issue resolution
- Participating in the full Agile Software Development Lifecycle
Requirements
- Third-level degree in IT, Computer Science, or other discipline with a significant coding/programming element
- Relevant Microsoft Certification - MS365 or other with a significant Share Point component
- 7+ years of experience working with Share Point, with a significant portion spent on development
- Previous experience leading a technical team with responsibilities for development, maintenance, and support of Share Point systems
- Previous experience designing and developing enterprise-level Share Point solutions
- Comfortable communicating with various stakeholders at different levels
