Senior Site Engineer Opportunity in Dublin
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Engineer to manage construction works on site, ensuring safe completion in line with the program and project drawings.
- Manage construction works on site to ensure safe completion in line with the program and project drawings.
- Perform setting out duties on commercial, industrial, and civils projects using robotic total stations and GPS systems.
- Assume day-to-day management of site technical and engineering requirements, including RFIs, Submittals, Shop Drawings, and Design Team Workshops.
- Ensure quality control measures on the site are implemented and in line with the overall BCAR plan for the project.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, and quantity surveyors in the planning and construction of the project.
- Support the Project Manager/Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme, on budget, and to a high standard.
- Identify information gaps, develop solutions, and rectify in conjunction with the project and design teams.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction project team and subcontractors.
- Third-level qualification in Engineering or related discipline.
- Knowledge of various types of construction and construction techniques.
- Competent in all aspects of set out, survey, and level, temporary works coordination.
- Strong numeracy and report writing skills.
- Ability to formulate plans and execute in line with budget and timeline.
- Ability to make informed decisions and know when to escalate.
- Computer literate and familiar with MS Project or similar scheduling package.
