Senior Site Engineer required to support Project Manager with day-to-day project running, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
Clancy, one of Ireland's leading Construction companies, is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Site Engineer to join their team. With significant operations across Leinster and Munster, Clancy is proud of its reputation for attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
- Review and critique design, ensuring adequate design is available for construction.
- Coordinate design development from designer's details to approved workshop drawings or technical information from subcontractors.
- Read and interpret drawings for layouts, materials, and measurements.
- Plan works efficiently to ensure program targets are achieved.
- Order and control materials on site.
- Maintain site records and records of discussions/meetings with designers and subcontractors.
- Check plans, drawings, and supervise setting out coordination.
- Set out and level sites, resolving unexpected technical difficulties and dealing with problems that arise.
- Attend regular meetings with clients, architects, and consultants, keeping them informed of progress.
- Oversee quality control and safety matters on site, ensuring regulations are adhered to.
- Supervise direct staff and subcontractors.
- Handle technical queries and interface with clients, consultants, and architects regarding RFIs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Engineering Degree
- Client/Consultant interface experience
- Confident in supervising site works
- Team player with ability to build effective relationships at all levels
