Experienced Senior Site Engineers sought for leading tier 1 Building and Fit Out Contractor in South Dublin and Newbridge areas.
Job Description: We are looking for Senior Site Engineers to assist the construction management team in the on-site control of building elements of projects.
Project Overview: Two projects are currently underway: a mixed-use development in Tallaght providing 502 residential units in 6 blocks, and Diageo's first carbon neutral brewery project in Newbridge, Kildare, valued at €200M.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise setting out engineers
- Check shuttering, steel, and other dimensions prior to concrete pours and maintain materials reconciliation files
- Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate
- Liaise with subcontractors, clients, and other professionals
- Oversee quality control and health and safety on site
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- 4+ years experience as a Site Engineer with a Main Contractor
- Experience using setting out equipment, such as total station, GPS, and laser levels
- Knowledge of temporary works coordination
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative
