Key Responsibilities as Senior Site Engineer Responsible for supporting the Project Manager with the day to day running of the project. Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project. Review detailed design, critique and communicate with designers to ensure adequate design is available for construction. Coordinate the development of design from designer's details to approved workshop drawings or technical information from subcontractors. Reading & interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc. Planning works in an efficient manner to ensure program targets are achieved. Ordering and control of materials on site. Maintaining the site records and records of discussions/meetings with designers and subcontractors. Good self-management, accuracy in own work, elimination of re-work and contractual awareness. Checking plans, drawings and supervision of setting out coordination. As an Engineer, you will be responsible for setting out and levelling of sites. The Engineer will resolve unexpected technical difficulties and you will deal with any problems which arise. Attending regular meetings with clients, architects and consultants, and keeping them informed of progress. Quality management and BCAR co-ordination Overseeing quality control and safety matters on the site and ensuring that regulations are adhered to. Supervise direct staff and sub-contractors. Handle technical queries when necessary and interface with the client, consultant and architect in regards to RFIs. Qualifications/Experience: Engineering Degree Client/Consultant interface in regards to RFI's etc. Confident in supervising site works Team player with ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
