Job Description
Senior Site Engineer sought for large-scale civil projects in Kildare, Ireland, with a well-established main contractor, requiring expertise in technical aspects, project management, and team leadership.
Manage site engineering activities, including setting out, quality control, and ensuring technical accuracy.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, ensuring the successful execution of project plans.
- Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and design teams to coordinate site operations.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports, maintaining project documentation and records.
- Provide technical support to the site team and resolve any on-site engineering issues.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in civil engineering, with proven expertise in large-scale projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency with setting out equipment and software (Total Station, AutoCAD).
- In-depth knowledge of Irish construction standards and health & safety regulations.
