A leading Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Engineer to oversee groundworks for a large residential development project in Kildare.
- Manage site activities, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Lead a team and liaise with contractors, clients, and consultants to deliver the project on time and within budget.
- Oversee all groundworks activities, including site preparation, earthworks, drainage, and utilities installation.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor project progress, manage resources, and report on performance.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of works.
- Conduct quality inspections and resolve technical issues on-site.
- Review project designs, plans, and ensure accurate setting out of the works.
- Maintain accurate site records and prepare regular reports.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in civil engineering.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and health & safety regulations.
- Proficient in the use of engineering software (Auto CAD, Total Station, etc.).
