Senior Site Engineer - Main Contractor A well-established Civil Engineering main contractor in Kildare is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join their team. This role offers long-term work with one of Irelands leading contractors in the Kildare area. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of large-scale civil projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Manage site engineering activities, including setting out, quality control, and ensuring technical accuracy. Lead and mentor junior engineers, ensuring the successful execution of project plans. Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and design teams to coordinate site operations. Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Prepare detailed reports, maintaining project documentation and records. Provide technical support to the site team and resolve any on-site engineering issues. Qualifications & Experience: Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years' experience in civil engineering, with proven expertise in large-scale projects. Strong leadership and communication skills. Proficiency with setting out equipment and software (Total Station, AutoCAD). In-depth knowledge of Irish construction standards and health & safety regulations.
