Senior Site Engineer Job Summary: A leading Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Engineer to oversee groundworks for a large residential development project in Kildare. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site activities, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. With a focus on delivering the project on time and within budget, the Senior Site Engineer will lead a team and liaise with contractors, clients, and consultants. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all groundworks activities, including site preparation, earthworks, drainage, and utilities installation. Lead and manage a site team, ensuring work is carried out to required specifications and standards. Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Monitor project progress, manage resources, and report on performance. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of works. Conduct quality inspections and resolve technical issues on-site. Review project designs, plans, and ensure accurate setting out of the works. Maintain accurate site records and prepare regular reports. Skills and Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 5+ years of experience in civil engineering. Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and health & safety regulations. Proficient in the use of engineering software (AutoCAD, Total Station, etc.).
