Job Description
Senior Site Engineer sought for a construction project in Portlaoise, Co. Laois, requiring 6+ years of engineering experience with a local main contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical advice to the Project Manager and team.
- Liaise with project, design, and subcontractor teams daily.
- Verify civil engineering designs, models, and drawings.
- Implement QA procedures, including concrete checks and resolving technical issues.
- Maintain safe working practices and monitor materials, plant, and logistics.
- Record and report site activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of engineering experience.
- Relevant third-level Engineering degree.
- Proven track record in completing projects.
- Experience working with a main contractor.
- Strong initiative, self-motivation, and work ethic.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
