Senior Site Engineer sought for a reputable construction company in Dublin 12, with 6+ years engineering experience and a proven track record in delivering complex projects.
Design Build Search is seeking a Senior Site Engineer on behalf of our client, a well-established and reputable construction company based in Dublin 12.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years engineering experience with a local main contractor.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to develop and bring added value to their career within an expanding contracting company.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical advice to the Project Manager and the broader team.
- Liaise daily with the project team, design team, and subcontractors.
- Conduct technical verifications of civil engineering designs, models, and drawings.
- Implement QA procedures, including concrete pre/post-pour checks, RFIs, and resolving technical issues.
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site.
- Monitor and record materials, plant, and logistics.
- Keep detailed records and produce regular reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience.
- Relevant third-level Engineering degree.
- Proven track record in completing projects from concept to completion.
- Experience working with a main contractor.
- Strong initiative, self-motivation, and work ethic.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
- In-depth technical and practical knowledge of the construction industry.
