Job Summary: Amazon Web Services is looking for senior engineers to help define and build the future of computing. Deliver high performance virtualized storage in the cloud for EC2. Work on one of the largest distributed storage systems in the world.
About the Role: We are looking for a senior software development engineer for the storage- and durability-focused data plane group. You will develop and maintain components enabling EBS storage and high durability.

Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 4+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
