Senior Software Developer sought to drive code quality, technical mentorship, and project delivery in a fast-paced engineering environment.
We are looking for a passionate full-stack Senior Software developer to be part of our Engineering Accelerations Solutions team to work on the development of our end-to-end product environment solutions at ADI.
In this role, you will develop, deploy, and support software tools, techniques, and methods to enhance the productivity of the product development community across ADI.
Responsibilities include:
- Evangelize and drive code quality practices such as code reviews, static analysis, and automated testing; implement software quality improvement initiatives.
- Disseminate in-depth knowledge of software development life cycles, software configuration management tools, and software release process.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members and project peers.
- Contribute to projects by guiding architectural discussions and providing technical coaching to software engineers.
- Contribute as a team member to operational, integration, or application architecture requirements, design, implementation, or on-going operations deliverables.
- Handle multiple applications and oversee deliverables using agile methodologies by doing sprint planning and execution.
- Work with multiple stakeholders from different locations.
- Establish metrics and processes for both monitoring health and allowing for continuous improvements.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 5-8 years of experience developing enterprise software in one or more high-level, object-oriented languages such as JAVA, C++ etc.
- Experience working with the Go programming language along with knowledge of various Go frameworks and tools.
- Experience using and developing RESTful APIs, Microservices.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and large-scale software architectures.
- Knowledge of Python, Node.js and Type Script.
- Experience in Database design and implementation using My SQL/Postgre SQL/Oracle/ Mongo DB.
- Excellent analytical, written and communication skills.
- Good understanding of testing methodologies like unit testing, functional testing, performance testing and Integration testing.
- Good understanding on system monitoring, observability, metrics and logging.
- Minimum experience of 3 or more full SDLC for web application projects.
- Familiarity with Agile best practices for the full software development process.
- Demonstrated extensive experience with task and defect tracking tools.
- Demonstrated competence in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Very Strong grasp of version control systems.
- Experience with Static Analysis tools.
- Experience with Build and dependency management tooling.
Good to have:
- Experience working with Cloud technologies such as AZURE, AWS.
- Working experience in building Developer platforms using frameworks like Backstage or any other.
- Experience with caching technologies like Redis.
