Candidates must be based in Ireland and live within a commutable distance to Dublin. Minimum stamp 4 Visa. Tech Stack Languages: Java, Spring, Big Data Tools: Hadoop, HDFS, ADLS, ADF, Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Dremio. Databases: SQL, NoSQL (e.g., Cassandra). Tools: Microservices architecture, Capital Markets systems. Responsibilities Build and maintain scalable data pipelines. Implement data products and custom models to meet specific business needs. Ensure data quality and integrity across sources for accuracy and reliability. Optimize pipelines for performance and scalability. Provide technical support for escalated incidents. Develop and document detailed solution designs. Align designs with business and performance requirements while focusing on cost efficiency. Conduct code and design reviews for quality and compliance. Stay updated with the latest data engineering trends and technologies. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in software engineering or related roles. Strong experience with Java/Spring Experience with Hadoop ideally Experience in designing scalable, production-grade applications. Capital Markets experience (5+ years preferred).
