Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team in designing, building, and deploying secure and resilient authentication systems at massive scale. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with a creative and diverse team to develop mission-critical features and services that enable Azure Active Directory and Azure to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop large-scale distributed software services and solutions
  • Develop "best-in-class" engineering for our services by ensuring that the services and components are well-defined and modularized, secure, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored, and reusable
  • Consider testability, portability/monitoring, reliability, and maintainability, and understand when code is ready to be shared and delivered
  • Foster a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • 4+yrs. of experience with shipping and operating services at scale
