Senior Software Engineer - Hosted Operator Team
We're seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Hosted Operator team, responsible for building tooling to automate the management of MongoDB resources in Kubernetes for Enterprise Advanced and Community users.

Job Responsibilities
- Propose, design, build, and support product features for our Kubernetes Operator
- Work in an agile team environment with a close relationship with customers
- Incrementally ship elements of sophisticated projects
- Assist Operations & Support Engineers to troubleshoot operational issues with customers
- Apply our core values to your work: Context, Predictability, Transparency, Focus, and Craftsmanship
Requirements
- Experience in a modern programming language (we mostly use Golang)
- Experience working with Kubernetes and Docker
- Ability to write technical documents and describe complex concepts in a concise way
- Familiarity with the CNCF landscape and experience working with distributed systems
- Strong command line experience and knowledge of Linux distributions
- Experience working with systems in production
Nice to Have
- Kubernetes development experience for custom components and knowledge of Kubernetes internals
- Kubernetes certifications
- Experience working with Kubernetes Operator or Kubernetes APIs
