Overview The One Engineering System (1 ES) team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work on the next generation of developer services and tools. This role involves designing and coding new software and services to be used by tens of thousands of Microsoft engineers and the broader Dev Ops market.

Responsibilities
- Design and code new software and services
- Work extensively on building developer services that are loved and relied upon
- Collaborate with cross-discipline and cross-team
- Develop and maintain large-scale distributed services for build and test

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
- 5 years equivalent experience
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with cross-discipline and cross-team collaboration
- Excellent technical communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with scripting languages such as bash, python, and Power Shell, or compiled languages such as C, C# and Go
- Awareness of, and ability to reason about, modern software & systems architectures
