We aspire to make the world a safer place for all by reshaping security and empowering every user, customer, and developer with a security cloud that protects them with end-to-end, simplified solutions. **Job Description** * Provide technical leadership for the team, developing technical designs and contributing to, coaching, and reviewing technical designs from teams across Microsoft. * Partner with key stakeholders to drive improvements and change across multiple teams across multiple geographies in the Microsoft Entra organization. * Design, develop, and run large-scale distributed software services and solutions. * Troubleshoot and optimize automation, reliability, and monitoring for production services. * Develop "best-in-class" engineering for our services by ensuring that the services and components are well-defined and modularized, secure, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored, and reusable. * Gain a working understanding of Microsoft businesses and collaborate with other leaders to contribute to cohesive, end-to-end experiences for our users. * Demonstrate strong customer empathy, curiosity, and willingness to question and learn, and participate in live site on-call rotation. **Requirements** * Number of years in professional software engineering experience, using one or more general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript. * Ability to work as part of a geo-distributed group. * Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements. **Company Culture** Our culture is centered on embracing a growth mindset, inspiring excellence, and encouraging teams and leaders to bring their best each day.
